Premiere - Beyond The Misguided - Set Me Free full EP

Klang Valley Melodic Metalcore unit, Beyond The Misguided is set to release Set Me Free, their debut EP on the 1st February 2024. The self-released EP consists of 5 tracks, with some of it already online as a single release.

In conjunction with the release, Beyond The Misguided is collaborating with Dissecting the Euphony for a premiere of Set Me Free EP.

Nikki (guitarist) reveals the theme of the EP, “Set Me Free is about escaping oppression. I’d say this is a battle cry for those being oppressed to fight for their freedom. I’m talking about any kind of oppression; society’s stigma, internal struggles or even military occupation. This is a soundtrack for our battle towards freedom!”

Set Me Free is a demonstration of energetic and crushing Melodic Metalcore, influenced by genre-defining bands such as As I Lay Dying and Bullet For My Valentine alongside local Metalcore luminaries such as Massacre Conspiracy and Sekumpulan Orang Gila. Expect an onslaught of backbreaking chugs and melodic riffs, complemented by dual vocals, earth-rumbling bass, and chaotic drumming making up the foundation of Beyond The Misguided sound.
