News – Maniac Monday Drops New EP ‘Sadai’
Malaysian alternative rock and punk-emo band Maniac Monday is excited to announce the release of their second EP, “SADAI”. This emotionally charged collection features five tracks that blend intense energy with raw vulnerability. Available now on all major streaming platforms, “SADAI” takes listeners on a journey through heartbreak, regret, and self-realization“SADAI” was written by Hadi, produced, mixed, and mastered by Shahzsilver. The EP features performances from Ajam(guitar), Bad (bass), Shahzsilver (drum programming, guitar, and backing vocals), with Hadi providing lead vocals and additional backing vocals from Shahzsilver, Bad, and Ajamthefreak.
Drawing inspiration from My Chemical Romance, Dustbox, and The Ataris, “SADAI” explores the journey of a persona who keeps making the same mistakes in love, ultimately confronting their flaws and accepting their fate.
“This EP is a reflection of our emotions and experiences—every song is an honest expression of pain, growth, and acceptance,” says Hadi, lead vocalist. “We hope it resonates with anyone who’s ever struggled to find love or make peace with their own mistakes.”
